Ingredients:
1 pound light brown sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups chopped toasted pecans
Method:
Get yourself a large microwave-safe bowl. Add the brown sugar, whipping cream and corn syrup. Microwave these ingredients on HIGH for about 12-13 minutes. Remove from the oven and add the butter. Using a hand-whisk stir the ingredients real well until the mixture becomes cool and creamy in consistency.
Now add the chopped nuts and drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto waxed paper.
Let the crunches cool and hey presto !.. impress your bingo-buddies.. these treats are real special and they will think you spent all day slaving over a hot stove !.
Store in airtight container.
